FEM Celebrates 25 years
On the 4th July 2018 Foodservice Equipment Marketing celebrated a landmark anniversary. After a quarter of a century in the industry, future plans include expansion of the customer support team and the launch of a new website. “25 years ago we brought a raft of new products to the UK market,” says Hogan. “And today we continue to work with the brands we represent to bring new solutions for the ever-changing needs of the commercial kitchen.”
Mark Finney joins the team as Sales Manager
An exceptionally experienced foodservice professional, Mark has worked both as a chef and in equipment sales, most recently as sales director for Rational. Mark is 51 and has worked all his life in the foodservice industry. “Joining FEM is a great opportunity for me,” he says. “It’s a company that manages to be both dynamic and friendly, and the diversity of the product range, with so many well-known brands, is very exciting.”
FEM attends NRA 2018
This year’s NRA show provided yet another opportunity for attendees to showcase the most innovative products and services in the industry. The team at FEM were delighted to see so many of our partner manufacturers' creations on display and were especially pleased to see two partners nominated for the prestigious Kitchen Innovation Award. Alto-Shaam for their Vector Ovens alongside Prince Castle's Modular Holding Bins.
FEM strenghtens marketing team
The promotion of Stacey Archibald to product marketing manager and appointment of Megan Nesbitt as marketing executive develop marketing department. Stacey had worked for FEM as marketing assistant for a number of years, has a wealth of experience and knowledge and has since completed her Certified Food Service Professional qualification. Megan comes from a background in hospitality and will be contributing to the department's customer and dealer support.
Super-fast four-in-one oven makes restaurant show debut
A last minute addition to the Restaurant Show’s line up was the Vector oven, an entirely new cooking appliance that brings multifunctionality to a new level. It allows chefs to cook four different products, simultaneously and independently, with their own temperature, fan and time settings. Its ‘Structured Air Technology’ means the oven is super-fast as well as producing brilliant results.
A shortlist nomination for Catering Insight Award's Light Equipment Supplier of the Year
We have launched numerous new light equipment product innovations, from our brands, over the year including the Hamilton Beach Commercial Quantum 950 high performance blender and were delighted to be nominated at the Catering Insight Awards. The Supplier awards showcased the innovation of manufacturers across the industry and we had a great time celebrating this year’s catering industry achievements!
