Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) was established on July 4th 1993.  On our first day of trading the business employed two people, founders Harry Hogan and Jim Doherty, who had a small office in Glasgow, a small warehouse, a couple of desks and a phone.

Now it’s one of the top UK foodservice equipment importers and distributors, employs 41 staff, has a 5,500 square metre warehouse holding over £5 million worth of stock available for next-day delivery, runs nationwide sales and service teams, and has an annual turnover of around £20 million.

FEM has established partnership agreements with leading foodservice manufacturers in both smallwares and equipment representing these brands in the UK and Ireland.  FEM brands include; Alto-Shaam, Cambro, Doregrill, Hamilton Beach Commercial, Manitowoc Ice, Prince Castle, Pujadas, San Jamar, Server Products, Sirman and Vollrath.  This impressive portfolio means that FEM has a large span of products across a number of categories from kitchen utensils to cooking equipment.

30 years ago we brought a raft of new products to the UK market,” says Mark Hogan. “And today we continue to work with the brands we represent to bring new solutions for the ever-changing needs of the commercial kitchen.

FEM is based in East Kilbride, near Glasgow with sales representatives located throughout the UK and Ireland.
